New Calves

New steer calves arrived this afternoon. Three Highlander crosses (the two golden and the brindle) and a Galloway cross (he’s the one with the white splash in the midsection).

They’ll be on their own for a few weeks, eating hay and some stress sprinkles. They will be allowed a small pasture area and get their ruminants developed before they are integrated with the herd. We will name them soon.

Big thanks to Matt and Amber for picking them up.

Here’s the Galloway boy. His belt is disheveled.
This one wanted a drink so badly, but the others wanted to run and jump so he was compelled to go with them.
Two to the Highlander boys.
